Visiting the Tibetan Buddhist Society

As we are a teaching & retreat centre and have no resident sangha,  our temple is staffed by volunteers. 

The temple is open for visitors between 3pm – 4pm on Sunday afternoons during teaching terms shown above.

Please note that we are not able to accept visitors at any other times 

Temple Open Afternoons

Throughout the year during teaching terms we hold special openings on occasional Saturday afternoons. These afternoons give visitors the opportunity to come  see our beautiful Tibetan style temple. Come and experience the calm and quiet of the temple and see our beautiful Buddha statue and other holy objects.

There will be a volunteer on hand to answer any questions you might have and our temple shop which is full of great gift ideas such as books, incense, mediation cushions, altar items and much more will also be open.

We will be from 1pm-4pm on the following Saturday afternoons in 2026

October 31 and November 28
